Todays game against Winston-Salem started off like most of the games this year, scoreless in the first inning for both teams. The Hillcats got it all started in the second when Jamie Romack scored. Winston-Salem battled back and scored two in the top of the third. The Hillcats tied it back up when Jose de Los Santos scored [bringing the game to 2-2]. The Warthogs didn’t score again until the top of the 8th. In the meantime…Jamie Romack hit a homerun in the bottom of the 4th. That would be the last time the ‘Cats scored until the end of the game. The 5th-8th innings neither team scored [obviously]. At the top of the 7th inning Kevin Roberts replaced starting pitcher Michael Crotta. The game was still tied at 3-2 Cats. At the top of the 8th Estee Harris homered for the Warthogs tying the game [not sure that’s how to spell that though;;sorry]. The Hillcats couldn’t fight back in the bottom of the 8th but at the top of the 9th, Moises Robles replaced Kevin Roberts. The Warthogs were unable to score during the 9th, leaving the Hillcats with hope to come back and win. The bottom of the 9th was quite interesting. Kent Sakamoto was walked. Kris Watts did a sacrifice bunt, putting Kent on 2nd. Jared Keel grounds out, Kent Sakamoto to 3rd. Alex Presley singles on a line-drive to left-field scoring Kent Sakamoto, giving the Hillcats the win!

Final Score: 3-4 Hillcats
