Finally! He called! Haha. He called my family today! He said that its true that hes not getting much playing time up there, and that other teams are interested in him, the Pirates just wont release him. Complicated. Anyways! He said hes doing fine and life is well. But he said that he will be down here towards the end of the season to sign autographs for like 3 days!! Isnt that amazing???

Yeppers that is amazing! And some good news too! Maybe his presence will bring some much needed attendance support to the Hillcats this year. I am looking forward to going up and watching our guys all playing up at Altoona later next month. I hope they really advertise that he is going to be here signing autographs because they need the support and the people will come out to support Pedro. So all you Hillcats fans who were lucky enough to get a Pedro Powell bobblehead at the start of the season, hang on to them and bring them for him to sign when he comes down! GO Pedro!
